Unchain your people from Mongols’ opression

2K’s Sensei Wars is a full-featured RTS set in the Antique China. You take control of a Sensei who’s aimed to protect his people from the Mongolian threat and build a civilization capable to prevail over them.

Gameplay is similar to other mobile RTS. You must build facilities to produce units, resources and defend your villagers. In addition, you must explore and raid nearby villages. Take no prisoners. Building and specially attacking are the only ways to level up. Since the difficulty increases gradually that becomes mandatory.

Actually, Sense Wars’ upgrading system is made of skills trees. Select one of three Sensei styles. Each style comes with its own special skills. That determines the way you rule the empire, so choose the one that fits your playing mood.

Use resources to create units and upgrade facilities. Gems can speed up the building/creation process. Of course, gems aren’t easy to earn. Spend them smartly. If you run out, you can go purchase packs from the in-game store (IAP).

Sensei Wars is a single-player game. However, you can join Dynasties (clans) made by real users for co-op play as well as compete against players on online leaderboards. 360º camera and zoom in/out lets you set the view at your very own whim.

3D graphics are neat, polished and well-optimized to run smoothly even on low medium-end devices. 3D cinematic scenes enrich the playing experiences. Angled view

Although I’m personally missing an online multiplayer mode and more added-value features, Sensei War is title worth to try for fans of the genre.
