I am hearing some rumors being reported today after seeing a spike in chatter within the gaming community on today. I have not seen the third-party game tracking tools show this much rumor in a long time. I will say the tracking tools are way more heated than the chatter I am seeing, so something might be off here. Again, I saw some initial chatter from within the gaming forums and on this site starting on today.  Now, I decided to cover it on everyday even if the chatter was not at the levels that would warrant me posting something.
To be clear, Wendgames' radar has not confirmed any release is officially going on.

Game description:
Number Blocks is a logic puzzle game inspired by Sudoku and is also known by other names such as Suguru, Tectonics, Ripple Effect and Number Groups.

Number Blocks is a classic Japanese style logic puzzle that will test your deduction skills across hundreds of levels with varying puzzle difficulties.
The collection of puzzles in Number Blocks will keep you entertained for hours. Each puzzle is completely solvable but will be a brain workout.

To solve these brain busting puzzles the challenge consists of a rectangular or square grid divided into colored regions. Each region must be filled with each of the digits from 1 to the number of cells in the region. Cells with the same digits must not be orthogonally or diagonally adjacent.

The objective of Number Blocks is to fill all colored squares with numbers to complete the puzzle. Much like Sudoku, the puzzle is not complete until each square is filled with a number. It sounds much easier than it actually is.

You are also given a few tools to help you along the way to solve all of the logic puzzles. There’s a notes function like you find in Sudoku to help you place notes in squares in case you are unsure of what number should go in each square. Notes in squares will help you deduce what numbers make sense to complete the puzzle based on other surrounding numbers you have already placed. When you are done using notes, you can turn them off or delete them with the trash icon. If you also find yourself going down the wrong path you can use the undo button or simply reset the grid to take a fresh new path. You also have hints that you can use to fill in squares that you need a little extra help with. Hints are a great way to put you over the top to complete the puzzle.

Here’s a little cheat sheet of important reminders to solve the puzzles…

1. Each square must contain a number.
2. Squares that have the same color are part of a group.
3. Each group can only use a number once.
4. If the group has 4 squares then it will contain numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4.
5. Neighboring squares cannot be the same number including diagonals.
6. Squares containing a dark circle are locked and cannot be changed.
7. Fill all squares to complete the puzzle.
