Hercules should be included into the “gladiator” subgenre, where battles aren’t about zoning or making combos as other typical fighting games, but based on reading foe’s moves and act accordingly to protect yourself from them. Once the enemy is tired, you can indiscriminately swipe the screen to deliver the more blows the better. When your rage bar is full, you can unleash (drumroll, please) a rage attack.

Indeed, Hercules follows the path opened by Dragon Slayer, Blood and Glory and Blood and Glory: Legend. It works quite like the same, and adds multiplayer, so if you have liked any of these, you will love this.

In the end, a game that doesn’t enhance graphical or gameplay quality (other than adding multiplayer, which is quite a feat on its own), but is perfect for those thirsty of raw action on their mobile devices.
